Modders Are Already Fixing Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition has faced a lot of problems since its recent launch, from the Rockstar Games Launcher outage on PC to the below average performance on both PC and next-generation consoles.

Fortunately, the PC community has started working on fixing the issues. Performance is being improved by enabling DirectX 12 as a launch argument.

That’s just the beginning, as modders are working on different aspects to remove the other lacking areas of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. Modders have already launched several mods, one among those improves the game’s default rain and is compatible with all three chapters (GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas).

A Sounds Overhaul mod has also been made. At this time, it is only compatible with GTA III. It does change many of the original sounds in the game.

Another mod from Instanity also improves the siren sounds of police cars and ambulances.  The gamers who do not like the large default reticle featured in Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition can change it with a much smaller one, thanks to the mod made by Anon2971 and uploaded on Nexus Mods by bobologs.

EchoBlends made a mod which is a quick way to hide the game’s HUD with a single key that can be added to all three titles.

Many more ‘Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition’ PC mods are expected in the coming months and years.
