MSI Radeon RX 6700 XT Gaming X Overview
Taking a first look at the Radeon RX 6700 XT Gaming X it is what I would call an average sized card. Its official dimensions are 279 x 131 x 58 mm, so at well under 300 mm in length it will easily fit in most cases.
Being a Gaming X card we have the new Gaming X look which I’m sure many of you are familiar with. The card has a black and silver shroud that has an angular design. MSI is making use of their Twin Frozr 8 cooling solution, which features their Torx 4.0 fans. These fans have blades that are bound together with an outer ring design link that focuses airflow into the heatsink.

Looking at the card from the side we can see the thick heatsink. MSI has designed it as two different heatsinks which have their core pipes coming up from the GPU plate.
Flipping over to the back of the card we have a full-cover aluminum backplate. Right in the center is a MSI Dragon logo.
On the other side of the card we have a smaller MSI Dragon logo and larger MSI logo. These will light up with RGB lighting when you have the card powered on. There is also black “RADEON” text. When it comes to power to the card you have two 8-pin PCI-Express power connections.

As far as display outputs you have three DisplayPort and a single HDMI. We can also see that the card is about a 2.7 slot card.
For those wondering about RGB lighting on the card as I mentioned the logos on the side of the card will light up, but you also have some accent lighting on the front of the card between the two cooling fans.
