Ray Tracing & DLSS Testing
With the RX 6000 series AMD is finally supporting real-time ray tracing. The RX 6700 XT features 40 Ray Accelerators. To test them we will be enabling ray tracing in select titles to see how big the performance hit is. First up is Shadow of the Tomb Raider. We run the game on the “High” preset but enabled ray traced shadows to medium.
Next we have Metro Exodus. Using the benchmark tool we use the “High” preset, but enable Ray Tracing to “High”.
