What are the main features of the MSI Stealth 16 AI+ B3WF Laptop?

Taking a first look at the Stealth 16 AI+ B3WF unlike other gaming laptops which are typically all black we have what MSI is calling their Charcoal Black. I would call it more of a grey or gunmetal color and I have to say it looks great. MSI is going with an all-aluminum alloy chassis, which feels quite premium when you pick it up. For a 16-inch gaming laptop the Stealth 16 AI+ B3WF is not necessarily all that big or thick for that matter. The official dimensions are 13.94″ x 9.69″ x 0.66-0.79″ and it does weigh in at 4.39 lbs.

The Stealth 16 AI+ comes in a Charcoal Black color, with an all-aluminum alloy chassis.

On the lid of the laptop you’ll find the MSI Dragon logo and the word “Stealth” in one corner. In the opposite corner is sort of a “S” shape design. Overall it gives the laptop a more sleek design rather than the “hey I’m a gaming laptop” look which I actually prefer. We can also see the rounded corners, which again give this laptop a really premium look.

Looking at the laptop from the side we can see it is not all that thick at all. On the left side of the laptop you’ll find a lock port, indication LED, charging port, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, and two Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports. The Thunderbolt 4 ports support DisplayPort and Power Delivery 3.0.

On the opposite side you’ll find a 2.5G Ethernet port, full-size HDMI 2.1 port, another USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, and a combination audio jack. It is definitely nice to see a true Ethernet port and full-size HDMI here as this is a gaming laptop. If you are wondering the HDMI port can output at 8K @ 60Hz or 4K @ 120Hz. The rounded edges are quite apparent here as well. As far as other connectivity you’ll also get WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0.

Opening the laptop up I found the hinge design to be pretty good overall. It didn’t feel flimsy, but it wasn’t super stiff either making opening up the laptop pretty easy. When you open the Stealth 16 AI+ B3WF you are greeted by the 16-inch QHD+ (2560×1600) 240Hz Refresh Rate OLED panel, which is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certified. This is a glossy panel if you were wondering. Above the display in the top bezel is going to be your webcam and microphone array. The webcam is a simple IR 1080p model, but it does have a privacy filter.

With the laptop open we can get a look at the keyboard as well as the larger touchpad. The keyboard itself features 80 keys with rounded edges and 4-zone RGB lighting which can be controlled via the MSI Center software. Since this is a new laptop coming out in 2026 we have a dedicated Copilot key. While most of the keys are large, your function row is smaller and the power button is actually in that top function row. It has a built-in fingerprint reader too.

Flanking the keyboard on each side is going to be your speakers. MSI is going with a 2x 2W speaker and 2x 2W woofer setup, which should provide great audio if you don’t plan on using headphones. Below the keyboard is going to be your touchpad which is quite large and smooth.

Flipping the laptop over there are two large rubber feet that extend the length of the laptop which will keep it in place on your desk. There are large circular holes for ventilation, but MSI is actually making use of their tri-path cooling design. This design exhausts heat through three different areas of the laptop, the bottom, the rear, and a section above the keyboard. MSI is also making use of a phase change thermal compound for the CPU and GPU.

Removing seven screws from the back of the laptop we can remove the back panel to access the inside. Here we can see that there is a second M.2 slot to add extra storage. The memory slots are also accessible so if you wanted to upgrade your memory you can.

The Stealth 16 AI+ B3WF comes with 2x M.2 and 2x DDR5 slots.
