MSI To Launch RTX 2080 Ti LIGHTNING 10th Anniversary Card at Computex

MSI’s first “LIGHTNING” card was launched 10 years ago and to celebrate the 10-year milestone they are preparing a special edition of their GeForce RTX 2080 Ti LIGHTNING graphics card that will debut at Computex 2019.

Right now we do not know much of anything about how this special edition of the card will be different from the current GeForce RTX 2080 Ti LIGHTNING Z, which was launched earlier this year at CES. But if we know MSI this card is going to be pretty amazing!

MSI first introduced the LIGHTNING series with the GTX 260 LIGHTNING all the way back in 2009. It was the first card to feature 5 heatpipes, a metal cover, and a dual-fan design. It also had a touch OC panel.

One of the most rare LIGHTNING cards was the GeForce GTX 780 Ti LIGHTNING. MSI only made 12 of them! It featured a 20-phase power design, two 8-pin power connectors, V-Check points and Military Class 4 components.
