New Intel Meteor Lake-P CPU Spotted With 6 Performance cores, 8 Efficient cores

Intel is getting ready to release its Meteor Lake CPU series in the near future. The recently discovered Core Ultra 7 1002H chip is not the initial mobile chip from the Meteor Lake lineup to be revealed. Earlier, the Core Ultra 7 1003H variant raised discussions about potential rebranding of Intel Core CPUs. Intel has confirmed that a name change is indeed intended for the upcoming mobile series.

As per the boot log discovered by IntalLatX64, the new SKU maintains the same CPU configuration as the 1003H. This includes 6 Performance cores, 8 Efficient cores, and an addition of 2 cores integrated into the System-on-Chip (SoC) die, which is a new addition to the Meteor Lake series. This addition results in a total configuration of 16 cores and 22 threads.

The base clock for the new SKU remains unchanged at 3.0 GHz, which is slightly lower than the engineering sample used at Computex last week, suggesting it could be a P-variant with a TDP of 28W.
