Made in Austria is probably not something people are familiar with, but Noctua is trying to change this. Today we are looking at the Noctua NH-C12P Premium CPU Cooler which really is a premium cooler. It’s not always easy saying quiet and optimal cooling in the same sentence when it comes to CPU coolers, but I think Noctua and the NH-C12P are starting to break this with a cool and quiet CPU cooler. While it certainly isn’t the most inexpensive cooler on the market, it is probably a worthy investment because it currently supports all processors, yes even the i7, and it seems to me that Noctua will continue giving away free brackets for their CPU coolers in the future.

Packaging
The NH-C12P comes packed in a well designed retail box. To get a sneak peak of the cooler, just take a peek through the clear pieces of plastic along the front and side of the box. The front of the package covers some of the major features of the device along with the product name while the back of the box covers more detailed specifications.
One of the two sides describes the six main features of this CPU cooler while also explaining the design of the NF-P12 fan blade design. The other side shows handy measurements of the device and explains the SecuFirm mounting system.
Inside the box the heatsink and fan come packaged in one cardboard box while all of the components are squeezed into another. Inside of the hardware box are three resalable plastic bags, which are labeled for their purpose, and the Installation Manual.
