NVIDIA and CD Projekt Red have partnered for a special contest related to Cyberpunk 2077. This game has had its ups and downs, but a popular Netflix show called Edgerunners has helped it become one of the most prominent games on Steam.
Players will now have the opportunity to win one of three GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards with a Cyberpunk 2077 backplate. CD Project Red will provide hints on the official CB2077 Twitter account, ostensibly to capture unique in-game images. The most ingenious will get one of three RTX 4090 cards as a reward.
The contest regulations state that there will be three challengers, each beginning on a particular day. It is possible to win two of the cards before the RTX 4090 has even been announced (October 12th).
The first Challenge will start from September 26 to October 2, 2022 (23:59 CEST);
the second from October 3 to October 9 (23:59 CEST);
and the third from October 10 to October 16, 2022 (23:59 CEST);
The latest desktop gaming GPU, the GeForce RTX 4090, is built on Ada Lovelace architecture and has the most powerful Ada GPU to date, the AD102. When it comes to NVIDIA’s newest upscaling technology, DLSS3, this model is one of the first to market among the new generation of GPUs. NVIDIA has demonstrated this technology inside the game Cyberpunk 2077, which is one of the first games to support it.
A new update of Cyberpunk 2077 featuring Ray Tracing Override Mode and DLSS 3 will be released shortly. NVIDIA believes that the RTX 4090, when employing DLSS3, may provide performance that is four times that of native resolution. However, these claims have yet to be confirmed.
