We have heard for some time now that NVIDIA would not be releasing any new graphics cards in 2013 after the launch of the GeForce GTX 760. Well our friends at VideoCardz have some exclusive details pointing to the fact that this may not be the case.

According to VideoCardz the new upcoming Kepler based cards would be based on the GK104, GK106 and GK208 architectures. This would make us believe that they would be mid-range cards like the GeForce GTX 750 Ti, GTX 750 and various other boost cards that we saw with the GeForce Kepler 600 series.

There is also a rumor that NVIDIA may be aiming to launch one final high performance card after AMD launches their Hawaii GPU in September. This final card in the Kepler lineup could be the fastest card of all. This would make sense for NVIDIA as the Hawaii GPU is already being called the “Titan Killer”. This new card could be based of the GK110 chip with all 15 SMX GeForce Kepler cores enables and the full 12 GB of GDDR5 memory like the Quadro K6000. Well we wouldn’t go that far! NVIDIA could also roll out a GeForce GTX 790 based on two GK110 cores.
