NVIDIA recently released the RTX 30 series of GPUs. The desktop versions of these new cards are currently in circulation, with more variants set to arrive. In the meantime, we haven’t heard much about the mobile versions of these GPUs, until now. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Mobile has now been pictured.
It takes a while for mobile variants of NVIDIA GPUs to show up in laptops, and with this generation, it might take a little bit longer, given NVIDIA’s stock issues with the desktop versions. However, we now have at least a first look at one. The photo got posted to a Chinese forum called NGA. Take a look:

The mobile version is using the same GA104 Ampere GPU, which is likely to be used for the RTX 3060 as well. The memory configuration here seems to be 8GB GDDR6 in a 256-bit bus. We expect this GPU to offer 2080Ti levels of performance, which means it should fit into the higher tier laptops.
