One of the sources has also provided a photo of the GA102-225 GPU Ampere GPU on which the RTX 3080 Ti will be based. The GPU will have 10240 CUDA cores and will be paired with 12GB GDDR6X RAM.

Before we tell you about the mining rate, you should know that the driver did not recognize the RTX 3080 Ti sample, and there is a possibility that the sample was tested before NVIDIA introduced its alleged crypto mining limiter. It is said that NVIDIA will be releasing new variants of its entire RTX 30 series, which will have both the crypto limiter and ResizableBAR support. Igor’s Lab reported that before the communication of mining limiter to AIBs, the 3080 Ti sample was made hence had no limiter.

The screenshot shows that the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti achieved an ETH mining hash rate of 118.9 Mh/s. We can also see that the card is optimized to achieve this mining rate as the TDP is reduced to 278W, and the memory clock speed is set at 21.4 Gbps.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the leak revealed that the RTX 3080 Ti will have a base clock speed of 1365 MHz base and a boost clock speed of up to 1665 MHz. As expected, the clock speeds are lower than both the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090. The 12 GB RAM will operate at 1188 MHz, which confirms 19 Gbps transfer speed.
