NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 SUPER GPU Prices Leak Out: RTX 4080 SUPER To Cost $999, RTX 4070 Ti/4070 SUPER For $799/$599

The anticipated pricing information for the upcoming GeForce RTX 40 SUPER series has been revealed by the reliable source MEGAsizeGPU. Given the consistent accuracy of this leaker’s past information, it can be deemed trustworthy. Additionally, the disclosed pricing aligns with the data shared by Moore’s Law is Dead.

According to MEGAsizeGPU’s post, the RTX 4080 SUPER is anticipated to have a price tag of $999, reflecting a $200 reduction from the initial launch price of the non-SUPER RTX 4080 over a year ago. Despite showing relatively modest spec improvements, this specific SKU undergoes the most significant price adjustment within the SUPER series.

Meanwhile, there are rumors suggesting that the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER will carry a price tag of $799, aligning precisely with the original MSRP of the non-SUPER card when it was launched a year ago. Furthermore, the RTX 4070 SUPER is expected to replace the non-SUPER version at a $599 price point, indicating a likely forthcoming price reduction for the latter.

If the earlier speculations prove accurate, the RTX 4080S and 4070TiS are poised to replace current SKUs, whereas the RTX 4070S is expected to coexist with the present model in the market. According to the leaker, NVIDIA doesn’t plan an official price cut for existing models, at least not officially. Instead, they aim to introduce new graphics cards with equivalent performance but at a lower price.

We’ll soon find out if the new information is accurate, as NVIDIA is scheduled to officially unveil the RTX 40 SUPER series in two days, with the first SKU slated for launch on January 17.
