NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060, 4060 Ti & 4070 GPU Refreshes Coming

Usually, around a year post-launch of a new series, NVIDIA tends to roll out additional SKUs featuring non-standard GPUs. These GPUs often have disabled cores that would otherwise be wasted. Rather than discarding them, NVIDIA adjusts the specs to align with lower-end models. For instance, the RTX 4070 might utilize a larger AD103 GPU instead of the AD104.

According to a reliable source in hardware leaks, MEGAsizeGPU, NVIDIA is potentially planning to launch new models like the RTX 4070, RTX 4060 Ti, and RTX 4060, all equipped with non-standard GPUs. The company is said to be gearing up to introduce new variants of the Ada GPU for its GeForce RTX 4070, RTX 4060 Ti, and RTX 4060 graphics cards.

It’s intriguing that these GPUs are already referenced in the most recent official drivers, indicating they could be released soon. However, MEGAsizeGPU suggests that at least two of these models may not debut before April. Consequently, anticipate a low-key launch.
