NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Discounted To $679

In January, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER was released, succeeding its predecessor at the $799 price tag. Retailers are now adjusting this suggested retail price as they face stiff competition from AMD’s Radeon RX 7800/7900 series.

Despite predictions of the RTX 4070 Ti non-SUPER disappearing from shelves, it remains available, albeit at a significantly more appealing price.

MSI has reacted by reducing prices on its Ventus 2X models. Both the white and black variants are now priced under $700. The usually more expensive white edition is presently listed at $679.99 on Newegg. Likewise, the RTX 4070 Ti Ventus Black is now priced at $689.99, courtesy of $40 off coupons accessible on Newegg and Amazon.

The RTX 4070 Ti SUPER showcases 8448 CUDA cores and an AD103 GPU, contrasting with the original model’s full AD104 GPU with 7680 CUDA cores. The primary distinction between the two lies in their memory setups. The SUPER version receives an enhancement from 12GB to 16GB of GDDR6X memory, while the original model operates on a narrower 192-bit memory bus.

Both iterations of the RTX 4070 Ti are now facing competition from the Radeon RX 7900 GRE. This Radeon variant boasts 16GB of VRAM and a Navi 31XL GPU. Remarkably, it is priced at $549, undercutting even the MSI 4070 Ti models.
