A new picture has been leaked to the web from an event in China where NVIDIA was teasing “GTX Turning” and showing what appears to be a photo of what the GTX 1660 Ti will look like. If the GTX 1660 Ti showing up in the Ashes of the Singularity benchmark results was not enough this should be confirmation that NVIDIA will be launching new Turning cards without ray tracing cores.
From what it looks like the reference GTX 1660 cards will use the new design that we’ve seen with the RTX cards with a dual fan design and the branding in the center of the card.
The GTX 1660 Ti and GTX 1660 are both expected to be based on the TU116 silicon and feature 6GB of GDDR memory. The Ti version will have GDDR6 while the non-Ti version will have GDDR5 / GDDR5X.
These cards are expected to launch in February and be priced between $250-350.
