NVIDIA has just released a new GeForce GTX 1060 SKU to their lineup, which has slightly better specifications than the original. The GeForce GTX 1060 was launched back in 2016 with 8 Gbps GDDR5, which was then upgraded to 9 Gbps on the 6GB variants. Now, NVIDIA will be offering a 6GB version with GDDR5X.
This higher memory bandwidth will result in a small, yet noticeable performance improvement.
