Patriot Viper Elite II Overview
Taking a first look at the Viper Elite II memory we can see Patriot has gone with a black and red design, this is currently the only color they are offering. One of the biggest changes from the original Viper Elite is that they have finally made the PCB black! (it was green before). This goes a long way to making everything match.
The heatspreader design is pretty attractive with a large Viper logo on the left side and a Viper text logo on the right side. These modules definitely stand out amongst the crowd of DDR4 modules we see these days.

Flipping over to the other side we have the same design except there is a large sticker in the center that has all of the relevant information on it. As a reminder this is the PVE2432G400C0K kit which is a 32GB (2x16GB) kit running at 4000 MHz with timings of 20-26-26-46 at 1.4V.
Being that this is a non-RGB kit we do not have a set of RGB LEDs and a diffuser at the top of the modules. Rather just a small Viper logo towards the end.

At its tallest point the memory is 42.2 mm so you really shouldn’t run into any clearance issues.
