Not only is this camera waterproof, it is compact and easy to take with you anywhere. Geeks.com, which is a great place to find 8MP Digital Cameras, was nice enough to send this camera over so let’s take a look and see if it’s the perfect camera for summer.

Packaging
As always shipping from Geeks.com was quick and we got the camera in less than a week. The camera is new so it comes in its retail packaging. On the back there is a list of features.
Opening up the box everything inside is nicely protected. Getting everything out of the box you have the t833 digital camera, battery, battery charger, AV out cable, USB cable, lanyard, carrying bag, instructions, and the software CD.

Thank for this review. I have been looking for a waterproof camera for some time, but as you mentioned they are generally a bit too bulky for casual carrying around. Just one camera for general and water photography. This camera looks like the answer.

Yea, look like a pretty good solution for under water photos. I'd like to see it go a bit more than 10 feet though.

Its not like you gonna use it for deep sea diving..
they gotta be strong to be able to withstand the extra pressure

The features indicate that the camera is only waterproof to 10 feet but the user manual (http://products.polaroid.com/product/part_numbe…) states that it is waterproof to 30 feet.
If you want to use more deep, there are many waterproof camera models such as PowerShot D10, Lumix DMC-TS2, Tough-8010 can use up to 33 feet deep.
