A beta for a new game title ‘The Red Door’ showed up on the Microsoft Store today. Since then, the listing has been pulling speculations that it might be the 2020 edition of Call of Duty.
The Red Door comes from Activision according to the Microsoft Store listing, propelling the talk that this is the next Call of Duty game we will get. There is no reference to Call of Duty made anywhere in the listing. However, we did get a description:
“There is more than one truth. If you go looking for answers, be ready to question everything and accept that nothing will ever be the same. The Red Door awaits, do you dare step through it?”
The game weighs in at 81.65 GB, and there was a neat logo to go along with the listing, as well:
The game has a Mature rating and has a redeem coupon option. Activision has a history of code names for Call of Duty games, so the likelihood of this being Call of Duty 2020 is high. The game is said to be a Black Ops reboot, and it might also ship with a Battle Royale mode.
