The new AMD Adrenalin Driver 20.7.2 is released with optimization for F1 2020, Death Stranding, and Hyper Scape. As per the AMD statement, a 5% performance increase was seen in F12020 after the new Adrenalin Driver 20.7.2 was installed on the RX5700XT GPU and the ultra-high presets were also enabled.
There was an 8% increase in the performance of the RX5700XT with the same setting in Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding as compared to the performance provided by the same card when running the 20.5.1 version of Adrenalin Drivers.
Along with the performance increase and optimization for these games, AMD has also fixed some known issues which were mentioned in its release notes.
As per the release notes, the Valorant launch issue from Radeon software or game tab has been fixed.AMD Bug loading and timeout issue and the system hang caused when using the RX 5000 graphic card series have also been fixed.
When using Microsoft Edge, video preview on Netflix leading to a black screen has also been fixed. These AMD drivers can be installed from AMD official website. Frequent driver updates and the performance gains is one reason why AMD Cards are taking over the market share.
