New benchmark shows AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 4750G gets close to 3700X

AMD is currently readying up its next generation of chips for launch. The Ryzen 4000 Renoir PRO chipsets are expected to launch sometime soon, with one rumour pointing to July 21st. Now, a benchmark featuring the AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 4750G has popped up, giving us an idea of what to expect.

The AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 4750G APU will be the flagship chip of the next generation of Ryzen. A new Geekbench listing shows it performs close to the 3700X, giving us an idea of its performance. Take a look:

The 3700X and the PRO 4750G come pretty close in terms of single-core performance. The multi-core performance isn’t too far, with a difference of fewer than 1000 points.

The 3700X does pack in 4 times as much L3 cache, and the 4750G has an integrated graphics unit. The AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 4750G looks like it will be a great offering, and a competent one if you had been considering the 3700X.
