Microsoft to add xCloud game streaming to Xbox Game Pass

Microsoft has been making a lot of great moved with its Xbox strategy. While historically, the console has been beaten by PlayStation, what Microsoft has done with Xbox Game Pass has been said to be a step in the right direction. Now, it looks like they have another move in the making.

The Xbox Game Pass is already a great offering. It has a lot of games available, with more added every month. Now, Microsoft is planning on adding its game streaming service, xCloud to the Game Pass. xCloud has been the talk of the town for a while now, especially in contrast to Google Stadia. Combining it with the Xbox Game Pass makes it a great value proposition.

Xbox Game pass has the advantage of getting a lot of games, some even at launch. This gives xCloud that advantage as well. Additionally, the Game Pass is available for both Xbox and PC right now, and with xCloud, it will extend to virtually any device that can stream well.

Needless to say, this will also add a fair bit of value to the Xbox Series X, which is already expected to be priced well. xCloud will be offered with Game Pass Ultimate starting September.
