First Impressions of PlayStation 5’s DualSense Controller are here by Geoff Keighley

The upcoming PS5 has maintained its hype until now as the fans are curious to know about the gears coming along with the PS5, its features, specs, and the price. Although Sony hasn’t officially released all the details, the release is due during holiday 2020. The hype is the cause for leaks and details being received from weirdest places and following this trend, Geoff Keighley showed the new PS5 DualSense controller and shared his reviews on a live stream on TheGameAwards’ Twitch channel.

It has way better specs than the previous DualShock 4 and the Xbox Series X controller being developed by Microsoft. The share button has been named as Create button, and the lightbar has been moved to one of the sides of the touchpad. Along with the integrated speakers and microphone design, it will also come with a 3.5mm headphone jack. The haptic feedback through the use of voice coil actuators instead of standard rumble motors makes the DualSense stand out of the crowd.

As per the Geoff review, he seemed to be quite impressed by the controller’s capabilities. He said that the haptic feedback gives gaming an enhanced experience along with the increased inbuilt speaker range. He hopes that every game will utilize its haptic feedback feature. He also found the DualSense a little bit heavy compared to DualShock 4 but was better designed, and despite weighing more in weight, it doesn’t feel heavy.

The full impression is there on Youtube. The PS5, along with its DualSense controller, is expected to be released in the 2020 holiday season. Sony is yet to confirm its price and release date.
