Chinese laptop maker Chuwi has launched a striking new laptop. The CoreBook Pro is a 13-inch laptop with a 2K screen, and is a brand new addition to Chuwi’s impressive lineup of value for money laptops.
The USP of this new laptop is the 2160 x 1440 IPS panel with a 3:2 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the CoreBook sports an Intel Core i3-6157U dual-core CPU with integrated Intel Iris 550 graphics. While the laptop has a great design and a promising screen, this chip is a 4 year-old entry level CPU, and as such, not that great of a performer. The CoreBook Pro also has 8 GB 2133 MHz DDR4 RAM and a 256 GB SATA M.2 SSD.
On the ports side, there’s USB-C, USB 3.0 Type-A, and 3.5 mm Audio Jack. A MicroSD Card reader is also present. The Chuwi CoreBook Pro also has WiFi 5, and Bluetooth 4.2.
The dimensions are 289 mm x 219 mm x 17.75 mm and this laptop weighs in at 1.34 kg.
The Chuwi CoreBook Pro is up for preorders right now, priced at $499, with shipment expected from July 28. Thoughts? Hit us up in the comments, below!
