Sabrent Unleashes World’s First 4TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD

It looks like Sabrent is going to have another world’s first. Recently they introduced an 8TB PCIe 3.0 NVMe solid state drive that comes in M.2 format and it looks like they are not stopping there. Sabrent is now preparing a 4TB variant of their Rocket Q4 SSD, which is a PCIe 4.0 NVMe drive. Since it is four 4TB it is the worlds’s first 4TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD!

Looking at the specifications the drive was sequential read and write speeds of 4900 MB/s (4.9 GB/s) and 3500 MB/s (3.5 GB/s) respectively. As of right now we do not know what controller the company is using for this model. The NAND that is uses is QLC however. Picking up this SSD will cost you $770 with a heatsink or $750 without the headsink. You can pick up the drive now on Amazon!
