MSI reveals overclocking results for AMD Ryzen 4000G processors

AMD recently released its 4000 series of desktop processors, and MSI isn’t wasting any time in showing off compatibility. MSI today put out overclocking results with the new AMD 4000G processors.

AMD’s 4000 series chips are based on the AM4 socket, which means that the existing 500-series motherboards support them. MSI did a test run with its 500-series motherboards, showing off the overclocking capabilities with the new-generation Ryzen chips. Here’s how MSI’s X570 and B550 motherboards handled the AMD Ryzen 4000G series chips:

As we had noted, the 4000 Series is a great fit for enthusiasts looking to extract more performance from their systems with overclocking. This is a good demonstration of the same. The Ryzen 7 PRO 4750G was able to go to 5.8 GHz. The Mmtest pass results were also very promising across the board.
