MSI references Intel 11th Gen Rocket Lake-S in manual for H410-based prebuilt system

Intel has been working on the next generation of its chips for a while, and now we have some details about compatibility thanks to a new leak. A new leak has shown MSI reference the next-generation Intel chips, and it seems like the series may support older generation motherboards.

The leak comes from a Russian user manual for MSI’s Infinite 915, a prebuilt gaming desktop. This system uses the H410 chipset motherboard. It’s notable then that there it lists support for 65 W versions of “CML-S” and “RKL-S”. The CML-S is 10th Comet Lake-S, Intel 10th Gen chips. The RKL-S is Rocket Lake-S, which is the name for the 11th Gen Intel chips. Take a look:

It is very unlikely that such a detail would make it to a user manual if Intel had given no hints about the compatibility. However, it should still be taken with a grain of salt as of now.
