AMD recently released its 4000 series of desktop APUs, also known as the Renoir lineup. These chips were announced to be only available to OEM assembled systems. Now we have a pricing list for these chips to give us an idea about the value-for-money factor.
The pricing details come from a leaked slide from the official AMD Ryzen deck, as revealed by Momomo_US. The life shows pricing for the PRO chips. Take a look:
The pricing details can be extrapolated to guess the price of the non-PRO variants of these chips. The Ryzen 7 PRO 4750G has a price tag of $309, which would put the AMD Ryzen 7 4700G around $299. This matches the initial pricing of the Ryzen 7 3700X. The same trend can be noticed across the board.
These chips are already being sold in retail in the Asian market by some retailers. We do not know when these chips will make it to the US and other markets in retail. AMD, however, has promised Zen 3 release by the end of the year.
