A New 65% Percent ROG Falchion Keyboard Wireless Gaming Keyboard Revealed By ASUS

A good keyboard can give you an edge while gaming, and if you are a professional gamer, then a gaming keyboard is essential. To cope with the need and improve gaming keyboards, Asus has released a wireless keyboard ROG Falchion Wireless with the 65% form factor.

There are different variants based on the type of keyboard switch being used. It means it will be 65% smaller than the Tenkeyless Mechanical Keyboards (TKL) form factor. To make up for the fewer keys compared to the TKL keyboard, which has 104 keys, it will have 68 keys, but macros and function keys will also be included. The keyboard is capable of providing 1ms response time along with gaming-grade 2.4Ghz RF. Cherry MX switches are being provided by ASUS that are RGB illuminated and also offer per-key color customization.

One more unique feature besides its size is the “interactive touch panel” built into the 65% gaming keyboard. It is a capacitive strip that can be used to adjust the volume as per your liking. As small-sized keyboards are portable, so to benefit the most from its small form factor, ASUS has also installed a battery that can provide 400 hours back up when the RGB lighting is off. A carrying case is also provided by ASUS to keep the keyboard safe while you carry it anywhere you like.

Although the keyboard has been released, no hint was made at the pricing of the keyboard nor the anticipated date on which it will hit different online retail stores. Rumours suggest that it will be a pricey keyboard to own as premiums like these come at a cost. Let us just wait for an official announcement by ASUS regarding the prices and availability.
