WePC highlights notable changes in NVIDIA’s mid-range pricing, with the RTX 4060 Ti series currently being more affordable than before. Last summer, NVIDIA launched these cards at $499 and $399 for the 16GB and 8GB variants, but the 16GB model received a lukewarm response within the gaming community, partly due to AMD’s RX 7800/7700 series launch just two months later, impacting the RTX 4060 series’ timing and pricing.
However, the pricing of the RTX 4060 Ti series has consistently decreased, reaching the most significant changes since its launch. The 8GB variant is now available for $346, marking a 13% reduction from its initial price. Similarly, the 16GB model has recently fallen to $430, representing a 14% decrease.
The ZOTAC AMP version stands out as the most economical choice for the 16GB model in the RTX 4060 Ti series. Another option is the MSI triple-fan design with the Ventus 3X SKU, albeit at a slightly higher cost of $5.
As for the RTX 4060 Ti 8GB, the EAGLE card is priced at $346, while its OC variant sees a marginal increase of $3. Given the modest price difference, opting for the OC variant is undoubtedly the better choice.
