Raidmax has just announced their X08 chassis, which is designed as sort of an open-air mid-tower. It is made up of metal panels with tempered glass panels on the either side. The look is quite good and sort of makes it look like a transformer. The chassis does support ATX motherboards with 7 expansion slots, graphics cards up to 400 mm as well as CPU coolers up to 150 mm in height.
This chassis has a very open design so there are no hard drive cages, instead you have the ability to mount two hard drives on the motherboard tray. The only cooling mounts you have are three 120 mm fan mounts on the top part of the case. This will allow you to install a 360 mm radiator up there.
As far as front panel connectivity goes you have two USB 3.0 ports and HD Audio jacks. The case has official dimensions of 610 mm x 255 mm x 525 mm (LxWxH). No word yet on pricing.
