An unknown retailer or distributor is reported to have listed Intel’s upcoming Intel Core i9-12900KS at 780 USD. The flagship Alder lake CPU is the first unlocked pre-binned desktop chip of the series. “KS” SKU was initially showcased by the company during CES 2022. However, there has been no news about it from the company so far. It seems as if the retailers are now ready for the launch of this product , the initial product listing is available by the product code of “BX8071512900KS”

@momomo_us has discovered and reported the listing that the Core i9-12900KS would have a base power (PBP) of 150W, that is 25W greater than i9-12900K. Similarly, the CPU will possess a single-core boost up to 5.5 GHz, a 300 MHz boost than the original model. The cost as listed is around 780 and 792 USD, almost 27% higher price of 12900K from the same retailers.

The source of the listing was not reported by the leakster. Details about sales tax were also not mentioned. Still, the cost is much more than the official MSRP for 1000 units.
