Samsung Announces 31.5″ UHD & 27″ QHD QD-OLED Gaming Monitors With Up To 360Hz Refresh Rates

Samsung has unveiled two new QD-OLED gaming monitors, featuring 31.5″ and 27″ models set to launch next year. CES 2024 will showcase a diverse range of QD-OLED monitors from various manufacturers, providing numerous options for consumers. Additionally, Samsung is teasing two more QD-OLED designs to expand its monitor lineup.

The official Samsung Display store has revealed the development of two QD-OLED designs – a 31.5″ and a 27″ model. The 31.5″ variant boasts a flat panel design, UHD resolution (3840×2160), and a pixel density of 140 PPI, catering to the high-end gaming segment. Samsung emphasizes AMD as a key partner, leveraging its RDNA 3 GPU architecture to drive high refresh rates and next-gen displays.

Samsung’s second QD-OLED model features a 27″ flat screen with a QHD display resolution of 2560×1440. With an impressive refresh rate of 360 Hz, this monitor is geared towards the eSports and High-Refresh Rate gaming segment.

Samsung reports that both QD-OLED gaming monitors are presently undergoing mass production and are slated for retail release next year, as revealed at CES 2024. Additionally, Samsung aims to triple its total display shipments in 2024 compared to the previous year, driven by an expanded product line.
