Electronic Arts and DICE have finally revealed Star Wars Battlefront II, which will be coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The biggest change with this game is that it will be receiving a single-player campaign, something that was definitely missing from the first game and many gamers complained about. Here is a quick description of the single-player campaign:
Star Wars Battlefront II introduces a new single-player Star Wars™ story. You play the role of Commander Iden Versio, leader of the Galactic Empire’s elite special forces unit, Inferno Squad. After witnessing the destruction of the second Death Star, Iden’s team embarks on an extraordinary odyssey of revenge, betrayal, and redemption spanning the 30 year gap between Star Wars™: Return of the Jedi™ and Star Wars™: The Force Awakens™. Along the way, she and her companions encounter a cast of Star Wars’ greatest characters. You’ll take control of many of these beloved heroes in an adventure ranging across a series of fantastic planets, including awe-inspiring settings you’ve never seen before.
For those wondering about multiplayer, you’ll be able to play all of the great battles from all noteable Star Wars film era’s including Clone Wars, Galactic Civil War, First Order-Resistance conflict. You’ll also be able to play as hero’s from these time periods, some of which include Luke Skywalker, Kylo Ren, Yoda, Darth Maul, and Rey. Multiplayer matches will be up to 40 players this time.
Star Wars Battlefront II will be released for PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 17th, 2017.
