The Huawei MediaPad M6 and its Gaming Capabilities

On June 21, 2019, Huawei released their latest tablet into what is an ever-growing market within the industry. Following their recent success with the various models of the P20 and P30 smartphones, the Chinese multinational technology firm have developed the follow-up model to their MediaPad M5. With that being said, and with so much choice of gamer-friendly tablets on the market, we take a lot at whether the Huawei MediaPad M6 is one to consider when seeking to buy a tablet.

With more and more prospective gamers focusing their attention on which device can give them the greatest length of playing time, battery capacity has never been more crucial. Fitted within the 10.8-inch display model of the M6 is a 7,500mAh battery, whilst the 8.4-inch display comes with a 6,100mAh capacity. In relation to some of the other releases available on the market, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 has a battery capacity of 7,300mAh within their 10.5-inch display screen. Moreover, while the precise numbers of the Apple iPad Pro’s battery capacity have not been released by the developers, their latest tablet does allow for up to 10 hours of video watching, which is approximately six hours less than the Galaxy Tab S4.

Furthermore, Huawei’s newest tablet is fitted with 4GB of RAM and comes with the Kirwin 980 processor as standard, which is also used within their P30 pro smartphone. In comparison, both the 12.9-inch display iPad Pro and the Galaxy Tab S4 also come with 4GB of RAM.

With many modern and high-spec games taking up a large amount of storage, the level of space available within tablets is vital to prospective buyers. In the Huawei MediaPad M6, Apple iPad Pro and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, each device comes – as standard – with 64GB of storage, but higher amounts such as 256GB are available if needed.
