Thermaltake Core V1 Case Overview
For a full overview of the Thermaltake Core V1 be sure to check out our video below.

The Core V1 follows in the footsteps of the other cases in Thermaltake’s Core series. It has an all black design with a honeycomb front bezel. The case has the official dimensions of 276 x 260 x 316 mm (10.9 x 10.2 x 12.4 inch) making it one of the smaller Mini-ITX cases that we have seen. The case is mainly made of SPCC steel.

Looking at the front of the case as I said it has a honeycomb design. The Thermaltake logo is on the bottom of the case. The top and bottom of the case are rounded, which gives the case a good look.

The front of the case houses a very large 200 mm intake fan. The fan is revealed by popping off the front panel of the case. If you haven’t noticed there is no 5.25-inch drive bay on this case, which we have seen many small cases like this not have in favor of more space inside.

Each of the two side panels has large a large ventilated section that not only allows for airflow, but also shows your components inside the case. On the left side of the case you will also find your buttons and connections which include a large power button, smaller reset button, two USB 3.0 ports, headphone and microphone connection and power and HDD LEDs.

The top panel of the case features a clear window. What’s great about this case is that all of the panels are interchangeable. So you can move the top windowed panel to either of the sides etc.

Moving around to the back of the case we can see there are two 80 mm fan mounts and the power supply mount is one the bottom of the case. There are two expansion slots, which means you can fit large full-size graphics cards in this case no problem. You will also notice thumbscrews on all of the side panels for easy removal.

Flipping the case over we can see the removable fan filter on the bottom of the case as well as four feet that will lift it off the ground for better airflow under the case.
