Thermaltake H700 TG Snow Case Review

Final Thoughts

As we come to the end here I think Thermaltake has a very solid case in their H700 TG. The case itself has a very sleek look with its tempered glass side panel and RGB lighting on the front of the case. The thing I really like about the RGB lighting is that it is not super in your face, it is just a nice sliver on the front of the case. Is is also a plus that Thermaltake did include a RGB controller so you can change the effects of the RGB lighting, and of course so you connect the lighting to your motherboard so you can control it with your motherboard’s RGB software.

This case is going to fit all of the latest hardware as well. Motherboards up to E-ATX, long graphics cards up to 395 mm, CPU coolers as tall as 180 mm, up to 5 hard drive out of the box, and room for 360 mm radiators in the front and top of the case. Building inside the case is quite easy too as we did not run into any issues with our installation. The three included velcro ties on the backside of the motherboard tray and all of the cable routing holes make keeping the inside of your system nice and clean. Both side panels are extremely easy to open up and remove from the case.

The case does come with two fans (one intake, one exhaust), but that is it, which is not horrible considering the price of the case. These are normal case fans, no RGB here. Also I was a bit surprised to not see a Type-C USB connector on the I/O panel, we do get a single USB 3.0 Type-A, but it would have been nice to see a Type-C here.

Right now you can pick this case up at our favorite online retailer for $109.99, which I think is a great price for what you are getting. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Thermaltake H700 TG Snow Case a 9 out of 10 score.
