Thermaltake The Tower 100 Racing Green Case Review

A Look Inside

You can remove the rear panel of the case by loosening the four captive thumbscrews. With the panel removed we can see a removeable storage bracket. This bracket supports either two 2.5-inch drives or two 3.5-inch drives. If you opt to install 3.5-inch drives you’ll have to remove the rear fan. We can also see a large cable routing hole around the middle of the case.

You might be wondering how to remove the front and side panels. What you need to do is remove 5 screws at the top of the case and then the top bezel will pull off. From there you can lift up each panel pretty easily. Removing the front panel we get a better look inside the case. As expected we have room for a a mini-ITX motherboard as well as up to a 3-slot graphics card (max 330 mm length).

There is a ventilated panel that separates that top and bottom compartments of the case. It is ventilated, has cable routing holes built in, and has support for an additional 120 or 140 mm fan. If we take off the right side panel there are two 2.5-inch removable SSD mounts.

The rest of the bottom of the case is pretty open and is meant to house your power supply. For those wondering you have room for an ATX power supply up to 180 mm.
