Valve’s Steam Link we a quite simple device, but a very useful one, especially if you were a gamer. Basically this little device could stream PC games and media to less-powered devices like your TV or phone (Android only). While this is a great idea, I guess it was hard for many people to wrap their heads around as Vavle had a hard time selling the device, even when they put it on sale for $2.50 (down from the normal price of $50!).
Well the company is quietly discontinuing the device today, although will continue to offer support. Valve has said that the Steam Link is selling out around the world and when its gone…well its gone.
