WD My Passport 5TB Overview
The WD My Passport is designed to be a portable drive so it is not very large at all with dimensions of 4.22″ x 2.95″ x 0.75″. Being this size you can easily put it in your pocket or throw it in your laptop bag.
We received the black version of the drive, which oddly enough is the only color available in the 5TB capacity. Blue and Red options are available at lower capacities starting at 4TB. On the front of the drive has a design on it with the WD logo in the top left.
Flipping over to the back the design continues down the side of the drive. On the back all you have is a small sticker that lets you know the serial number of the drive and more.
There is a single connection on the drive, which happens to be on the top. This is a USB 3.2 gen 1 micro B connection, which when connected with the included cable with provide both power and data to the drive.
