WD My Passport SSD Overview
The design of the new WD My Passport SSD is vastly different than the original. It has a rectangular shape with curved corners. The drive has official dimensions of 3.94″ x 2.17″ x 0.35″ so it is definitely pocketable and you can easily throw it in a laptop bag or backpack.
The top part of the drive has a unique design on it and the WD logo on the top left. The top part of the drive is metal and we received the silver version. WD also offers the drive in blue, gold, grey, and red.
Flipping the drive over to the back it is made of a different material. The only thing really on the back is your model number and capacity.
There is a single USB-C connection on the bottom of the drive. This is a USB 3.2 gen 2 connection, but it is of course backwards compatiable.
