XFX Announces Liquid-Cooled Radeon RX 6900 XT ZERO WB With 3 GHz OC Frequency

XFX has launched their ultra-premium Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card, the ZERO WB. The card has Slovenian EK’s designed pre-installed water block with ARGB lighting, which also marks the return of XFX offering liquid-cooled solutions.

The Zero WB is a full custom solution with a CNC machined water block and a full custom board design with three 8-pin power connectors. Although XFX does not provide typical board power for its design, it can be assumed that the card will not be eco-friendly. The RX 6900 XT‘s reference specs state that it requires 300W of power, whereas the majority of Navi 21 XTXH based designs like Zero WB easily go past 350W.

XFX claims that the card will achieve 3 GHz when overclocked; however, it is unclear whether the clock rate will be stable or just a peak. XFX has also announced the new Merc 319 model called ‘Limited Black.’ It has a different board design (only two 8-pin power connectors), but the 3 GHz OC claim is sustained. The card has a boost clock of up to 2495 MHz which is 30 MHz lower than Zero WB. Both the cards will be available for purchase soon.
