XFX, who we normally know for graphics cards and motherboard is getting into the PC case segment with their Type 1 Bravo mid-tower and from what we see it looks like it will not disappoint. At first glance the case has a very sleek and stylish.

XFX Type 1 Bravo Case

The case has the official dimensions of 518 mm x 232 mm x 562 mm, is made largely of SECC-steel, and weighs in at about 10.4 kg. The sloped top and bottom really give the case a unique look. There is a ventilated section on the top and side panel that actually make it look like the case is divided into different sections. On the side panel there is a red and white XFX branding.

As far as storage goes you have room for three 5.25-inch drives and eight 3.5-inch internal drives. The internal drive bays also support 2.5-inch drives. There are eight expansion slots so you can install two graphics cards without any problem at all. For cooling you have a 200 mm front intake, 140 mm bottom intake and a 200 mm top exhaust. Front panel connections include two USB 3.0, two USB 2.0 and HDA connections.

  1. Not too bad looking at all, it would be nice to see something in a full tower design as well, even though at the moment I’m mostly working on caseless stuff for cryptocurrency mining.

  2. How can you post this without including the most important aspect of the case… the motherboard form factor that it supports
