ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5070 Solid OC Graphics Card Overview
This is the first Zotac graphics card we’ve taken a look at in the RTX 50 series and actually the first card in a while as our last Zotac graphics card review was back in 2023. So the Solid line is pretty new to us. The only real difference between the Solid and Solid OC is of course going to be that overclock. Beyond that the cards are essentially the same design-wise. First, let’s talk about size. The official dimensions of the card are 304.4mm x 115.8mm x 41.6mm.
The card has a sort of gunmetal-colored shroud with slits cut into it and a small Zotac Gaming logo. Embedded in the shroud are our three cooling fans, each of which has a Zotac Gaming logo in the center. These center circles are a reflective gold, which is going to match the gold accents you’ll see throughout the card.
The fans are part of Zotac’s Ice Storm 3.0 cooling solution and are called BladeLink fans as the blades are connected to an outer frame. This provides optimized airflow intake as well as reinforced structural rigidity. You also have the ability to control each fan individually.
As we take a look at the card from the side we can see it is not that thick at all. This is indeed a 2-slot card. We can see the multiple heatsinks, which are connected by heatpipes. On the side of the card which will show if you have a case window there is a GeForce RTX logo as well as Zotac Gaming logos. The Zotac Gaming logos will light up with RGB lighting and that will be only only lighting on the card. Right in the center of the card is going to be your 12VHPWR power connection.
Flipping the card over to the back we have a full-coverage metal backplate which does have a large Zotac gaming logo on it. Towards the end there is a cut-out for pass-through cooling.
Moving to our connections we have three DisplayPort 2.1b and a single HDMI 2.1b. Also you can see the card is slotted for 2 slot and as I mentioned this is actually a 2-slot card.
