ZOTAC GeForce RTX 3090 Trinity Graphics Card Review

FireStorm App & RGB Lighting

While you can run the GeForce RTX 3090 Trinity no problem without any software at all if you want to customize the fan speeds or RGB lighting you’ll need to use Zotac’s FireStorm applications. FireStorm is pretty much the same application we saw on the RTX 20 series cards from Zotac. When you open it up you’ll see GPU, memory, and fan speeds in real time as well as the current GPU temperature. I did find it odd that you only had the choice of two fans. “1” controls the fan towards the end of the card, while “2” controls the two fans towards the rear of the card.

RGB lighting control is also found in FireStorm by clicking on the Spectra tab. Here we can either link RGB effects on the top edge and back or control them individually. You can select colors, effects, etc.

The RGB lighting on the card is quite good and I really like that we do have RGB lighting on the back of the card!
