AMD Vega 10 GPU Name Confirmed By Bethesda

Well it really was no secret, but it looks like Bethesda has confirmed it. AMD's upcoming Vega 10 GPU will be named the Radeon RX 490 and will feature 8GB of graphics memory. Bethesda announced that it will release a new HD texture pack for the PC version of Fallout 4. In this announcement Bethesda revealed the recommended system requirements and there it was listed!

Mad Catz in danger of being dropped from the NYSE

It looks like things are getting worse for Mad Catz, it looks like they are running the risk of being dropped from the New York Stock Exchange due to low share price. A formal notice was sent to the company on January 20th saying that the company must either consolidate shares or raise its share price over the next six months.

AMD Ryzen Could Only Be 4-Core and 8-Core

An interesting theory has popped up over on Thai-based website zolkorn. They are speculating that AMD can only release 4-core and 8-core Ryzen models both with and without hyper-threading. This means that AMD will not release 6-core or even dual-core Ryzen processors.

Expect DRAM Prices To Rise Over 2017

According to DigiTimes DRAM prices will continue to rise over the course of 2017. The price of DRAM chips will directly affect DDR4 memory modules. President of Nanya Technology, Pei-Ing Lee, has said that prices will continue to rally (rise) over the second quarter of 2017, but could stabilize (does not mean fall) over the second half of the year.
