Noctua NH-P1 Passive CPU Cooler Review

Noctua is one of the most well-known air CPU cooler makers out there. If someone is looking for a high performance air cooler we almost always recommend a Noctua cooler. Recently they’ve come out with a completely passive CPU cooler, meaning it has no fans! This means you are completely reliant on the design (and size) of the heatsink to really dissipate the heat from your CPU. Having a passive design means that there are no loud fans in your system, which is a plus to many people. We’ve seen passive CPU coolers in the past, but none have ever really impressed us. The real question is if the NH-P1 can handle the thermal load of modern processors? Read on as we find out!

Special thanks to Noctua for providing us with the NH-P1 Passive CPU Cooler to review.
