With the introduction of new platforms and better memory controllers we in turn get faster memory. That is the case here today with Lexar’s ARES RGB DDR5-7200 memory kit. Not too long ago we took a look at their 6000 MHz kit, which was pretty fast at the time, but now we are up to 7200 MHz! The specific kit is the LD5U16G72C34LA-RGD kit which is a 32GB (2x16GB) kit that runs at 7200 MHz with timings of 34-42-42-84 at 1.4V. Of course being ARES RGB you are going to get some sleek lighting as well. Is this the memory you need for your new build? Read on as we find out!
Special thanks to Lexar for providing us with the ARES RGB DDR5-7200 Memory Kit to review.
