They pair Razer’s 2.4GHz HyperSpeed Wireless connection with Bluetooth 6.0, Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation, and a 40-hour total battery life (10 hours in the buds, 30 more from the case), all switchable on the fly through Razer’s SmartSwitch feature. That combination puts them squarely against the biggest complaint gamers have with wireless earbuds: audio lag that throws off timing in fast-paced or competitive titles. When it comes to gaming for me earbuds are not my first choice, but for many people they actually prefer earbuds as they tend to be more comfortable during those long gaming sessions. What comes with the Razer Hammerhead V3 HyperSpeed Gaming Earbuds?
The Hammerhead V3 HyperSpeed comes in your standard Razer retail box. On the front you’ll find a picture of the earbuds and it does let us know they feature 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth connectivity as well as THX Spatial Audio. On the back same of the main features were detailed.
Getting everything out of the box we find the Hammerhead V3 HyperSpeed themselves inside their charging case, also inside the charging case is the USB-C 2.4 GHz dongle, then you’ll find two extra sets of ear tips, a USB-C to USB-C charging cable, and a user’s guide. The USB cable is nicely braided and one of the connectors is at a 90-degree angle so if you are charging the case or using the dongle inside the case the cable is easy to deal with coming off your device. This cable while being a data cable is also a fast-charging cable being able to output up to 60W.
