A New Massive GeForce RTX 40 GPU Teased By GALAX For Its 20th Anniversary

Galax has introduced a brand-new line of premium PCIe Gen5 SSDs in commemoration of their 20th anniversary. While the exact release date remains undisclosed, there have been several hints about these offerings. Notably, this milestone celebration will also feature a unique edition of the GeForce RTX 40 graphics card.

Founded in 1994 under the name “Galaxtech” in Hong Kong, GALAX, a subsidiary of Galaxy Microsystems Ltd, now has a presence in multiple countries with different brand identities. The company also holds ownership of Gainward, KFA2, and XpertVision. Presently, its main emphasis is on the Chinese market, where this new product is poised for its introduction.

GALAX RTX4090 20TH ANNIVERSARY HERO 1800x936 1

Although GALAX has not provided specific details about the model they are introducing, the substantial size and thickness of the cooler strongly hint at it being the RTX 4090. This design incorporates three to four slots and includes two fans on the front side. The black rectangle on the right side actually serves as an open area in the front shroud, facilitating air to exit from the third fan on the opposite side. Consequently, it appears to be an extension of the NVIDIA Founders Edition design, possibly including an extra fan or a design reminiscent of the abandoned RTX 4090 Ti cooler, which had a concealed fan within the heatsink.

The company is set to reveal this new design tomorrow. GALAX boasts an extensive RTX 40 card lineup, encompassing a whopping 80 distinct models. As of now, it holds the top position among all NVIDIA board partners, with 14 RTX 4090 designs already released, and more in the pipeline.
